We were hired to convert the instructor-led, the class-based training course to an online video training program.
We built the entire training experience based on 3D visualization and video animations instead of shooting it live. We realized that the traditional live video production process would not work for this project for a number of reasons. It would just be impractical and overly expensive to do it in the traditional way, considering the variety of scaffolds that have to be assembled, as well as the complexity of renting the active construction sets as filming locations and the inevitable content revisions to complete the picture.
As a result, we created a 3D model library of parts and accessories for different types of scaffolds. By the end of this project, we counted over 100 scaffolds produced with photo-realistic 3D visualization.
Then we placed scaffolds within computer-generated (CG) construction sets of the office building, power plant, and residential development.
Finally, to make it all look real, we incorporated live video footage of the curriculum instructor. He interacts with construction sets and scaffolds (all computer generated) while delivering the training content to his virtual trainees.
OSHA-training.com has received not just the quality edge and well-pronounced differentiation point among its competitors, but the extensive library of reusable construction sets and scaffolds to efficiently produce more training curriculums. See more 3D related animation projects…
