McCann Ericson Universal Belarus hired our video production division in Eastern Europe to make a commercial for the corporate branding spot of Heineken’s “Bobrov Ice” – a newly released beer for the Belarus market. We had to visualize the birth of the new brand inside a piece of ice.
The main challenge was that the bottle had to catch fire while inside the ice chunk. We had actually fired up the beer bottle to get references. In order to meet the resolution requirements (2048 x 1536) for running this commercial in movie theaters as well as on TV, we had to build a computer rendering farm. Our product was enthusiastically accepted by the client with the remark “…that’s exactly what we wanted and it looks exactly as we pictured!”
